Other Local Products Available Through ICF
One of the goals of the Intervale Community Farm is to promote “ever more farms and farmers”. One means of reaching this end is by offering local products to farm members. We offer “shares” of most of the extra products and this enables ICF to pay the farmer cash in advance (just like ICF members pay for their produce before the season begins). ICF also strives to pay the producer a price that is above wholesale pricing, while still keeping the product affordable for the ICF membership.

Due to limited quantities of breads and eggs, we sent out an order form to reserve your share now before the season starts!  Look for it in the mail.

Apples, Bread, Eggs, Goat Cheese, and Maple Syrup.

Apples. We offer ecologically grown apples and sweet cider from Champlain Orchards in Shoreham. The varieties shift as the season progresses from crisp early varieties to sweeter fall types. For more information on Champlain Orchards, visit www.champlainorchards.com.

Bread.  We are very pleased to offer two breads at ICF. Gerard’s Bread is a naturally-leavened country French loaf, baked locally from primarily organic ingredients. Adam's Village Bread is a whole-grain German hearth baked bread.  Adam rotates between his 3-seeded loaf and everyday whole wheat loaf.

Eggs. Jericho Settlers' Farm will supply eggs from their flock of free-range hens.

Goat Cheese. Certified-organic goat cheeses from Does’ Leap Farm in East Fairfield will be available on a share basis. Does’ Leap produces several delicious fresh and aged goat cheeses.

Meats. We expect to have grass-fed beef available through Wells Family Farm and organic pork through Does’ Leap Farm. Watch for info! Summer Share only.

Maple Syrup: Delicious organic maple syrup is available at special ICF prices from Dragonfly Sugarworks in Huntington, VT. Visit www.dragonflysugarworks.com for more information.
