Mushrooms!!

ICF is excited to offer fresh, certified-organic specialty mushrooms from Funj Shrooming in South Burlington. Funj offers several mushrooms that will rotate weekly. Add-on summer shares for a weekly 5.5 oz box of mushrooms are $147 (21 pick-ups) or every other week (11 pick-ups) for $77. Individual units are $7, when available.

FUNJ Shrooming Company (pronounced "fuhnj") is a certified organic mushroom farm growing delicious, sustainably cultivated mushrooms inside a revitalized cidering facility. "Culinary fungi have always held a special place in our family, from our foraging heritage in the old country to the gourmet varieties we grow today," according to Kevin Melman, owner and grower.

Kevin will be on site during the first week of pick-ups (June 8 and June 11) to answer questions about the mushroom varieties, but the first week we'll be offering a Chef's Medley mixed clamshell. After that, the weekly mushroom will rotate among Blue Oyster, Black Pearl King Oyster, Lion's Mane, Shiitake, Chestnut.
